It is with sadness that I announce that Dr. Dieter Eigenbrod passed away yesterday, Wednesday, June 27. A Professor Emeritus of Civil Engineering, Dr. Eigenbrod joined the Faculty of Engineering at Lakehead University in 1983, after working for more than 10 years in private industry. He retired in June of 2005.
有點不喜歡上他的課, 因為…我總是聽不明白他的課, 也看不大懂他潦草的筆記, 很苦惱. 可在課堂以外, 他是一個很好的老人. 這五年來, 也教了我不少東西. 人生無常…唉…慶幸自己在臨行之前有給他道別. 不知道我送的中國茶包他喝完沒呢?
